🧡 The Day of Ashura – A Day of Forgiveness and Generosity

The 10th of Muharram, known as Ashura, is one of the most spiritually significant days in Islam.

🌅 What Happened on Ashura?

  • It was the day Allah saved Musa (AS) and his people from Pharaoh.

  • The Prophet ﷺ fasted on this day and encouraged others to do the same.

  • It became a day to show gratitude through fasting and charity.

“Fasting on the Day of Ashura expiates the sins of the previous year.” (Sahih Muslim)

💧 Acts of Good on Ashura

The spirit of Ashura is one of gratitude, reflection, and giving.

💠 Fast on the 10th of Muharram
💠 Feed a fasting person
💠 Help those in need around the world

"Whoever is generous to his family on the day of ‘Ashura, Allah will be generous to him throughout the year."
Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in “Shu‘ab al-Eemaan”.
